A Murray Little Christmas: Murray Hill
Joe’s Pub
December 12th - December 16th 2023

It's almost that most wonderful time of year...queer holidays! For those who find community at theaters rather than by flying home to the family, take refuge in drag king and entertainer Murray Hill's Christmas show ("Somebody Somewhere" hive, arise!), but there are also plenty of other queer gifts this holiday season, including Daphne Always at Club Cumming, The Nutcracker at Company XIV, and Jinx and DeLa at Kings Theatre. I'll be at all of 'em!

Totally Plucked - Solstice Edition: Dan Shevlin
The Brick Theater
Monday, December 20th 2023

I had to miss Dan's show on Friday the 13th so I was like - could you do it again and shift the stories to fit solstice? But keep allllllll the cello.

And he was like - yes!

And I was like - SWEET!

So, now I am really excited to have Dan bringing his delightful sense of humor and his gorgeousssssss cello skills to The Brick. You gotta come. Bring a date. Bring a flask. Bring an old friend. Bring sunglasses if you are like me and get emotional because of something that just happens with cellos played well...

how would you like me to atone: Sophie Dushko
249 Huron Street, Brooklyn, NY
Sunday, December 3rd 2023

Sophie's a hot-on-the-rise writer and her play looks like a savvy take at power dynamics and gender, all set in a motel room. See it set in a Greenpoint loft!

SPLIT BILL #41 (GUTDANCE/suRREALIST): Grace Yi-Li Tong / Stephen Shynes
Triskelion Arts
November 30th - December 1st 2023

Grace's work combines puppetry, clowning, and dance in order to build up a whole universe!! It's thoughtful, it's funny, and I'm excited to see this new piece. I'm not as familiar with Stephen's work, but am excited to see it & how the two pieces are in conversation with one another.
