The Bushwick Starr
October 15th - November 3rd 2024

The Starr has reopened!!! Check out their first show in their fancy but still chill location, deeper into Bushwick for all you gremlins. It's got a killer cast of nine — nine! — including Brittany K. Allen, Zoë Geltman, and more.

AdultFilm Film + Theatre Fest : Ryan Czerwonko, Evan Navarro, Jamie Coffey, Lauren Guglielmello, Matt Street
350 Cornelia Street, BK
September 27th - September 29th 2024

Step into a basement, spill into a backyard, and enter a fun house: experience a dynamic evening at a home that feels like an urban artistic commune and that plays host to an evening of shows, shorts, chats, and more. There's a lot packed into three-ish hours, and you'll find something you love and a new buddy to chat with. Go go go.

Re-Pairs : Pamela Vail, Jennifer Kayle
Center for Performance Research
Saturday September 28th 2024

This performance about the psychological horror and aesthetics of abuse, alienation, Caribbean migration, and more sounds like it'll be a proper ride. I love a solo show with a little danger, and the suspense of an audience in fear of what and where the performer will go.

Staffer: Joshua Dumas

Puppet Nocturnes : Tristan Allen, Amanda Card, Preston Wollner, and Tiresias
The Brick Theater
Wednesday October 2nd 2024

Spooky season is upon us, and what better way to welcome it than with an evening of three new puppetry works? With Dame Sinclair overseeing “Cyanotype & Ceremony” and Tiresias the “Weaving of Tales,” you couldn’t find more fitting guides to the shadow realm.

Staffer: Matthew Antoci

One Song : Miet Warlop
NYU Skirball
October 3rd - 5th 2024

When I was in middle school I was obsessed with the Hunger Games. Like I had all of the books and used to plan with my friends when to watch the movies (I still remember that one of them came out on my birthday lol). So you can probably guess my excitement when the first sentence for One Song on Skirball's website ends with: "it felt like “The Hunger Games” for theater aficionados." Concert meets ritual meets maybe a fight to the death(??)... I'm seated.

Staffer: Hilary Gao

Archives Onstage: Richard Foreman Reunion : Jay Sanders in conversation with Richard Foreman; an actors’ panel with Henry Stram, Tony Torn, Juliana Francis Kelly, and others; and tributes by Robert Wilson, David Adjmi, Hilton Als, and more. Helen Shaw put it all together.
NYU Skirball
Sunday October 6th 2024

This is a big one. IF I could be there, I would BE THERE. Can someone please FaceTime me the entire time? This rips my heart right out of my chest.. So, please go to this. Once in a lifetime. Free. You gotta RSVP. So many of the freaks that found each other because of Richard Foreman will be there. Go there and soak it in, friends!

Staffer: Theresa Buchheister
